Those unions
with far away voices
that lull you to unknown places
a shadow elongated on the sea
points to a distant constellation
A hand, out-folding, reveals copper words
and we have run out of trading cards
or the buy one get one free coupons
that have no value here anyway
Motionless suns vexate on a path to
halfway torn clouds
When the sky breathes
we breathe with it
And the locusts sing in tandem
While we unearth from the rock
beneath our feet
and snakes coarse through its boulders
floating truly as if bringers of stones
A red curtain is fallen by a crashing tide
By noon all will have vanished
and yet nothing will have existed in the first place
Especially not these rigid bodies
or these roads that seemed to have been traveled
with mindless vaccilation
