There are stars for tomorrow

There are stars for tomorrow
that do not hide
on the long expanse
of a radiant ideology
famous words
would have them remembered
there are roads
that we do not pass
not in daylight
and the iron work
casts its shadows along
borders where a
garden of jewelry grows
come what might
we always have the light
stars
have they been fooled
or are we fools for neglecting them
in our common strife
to bear witness at the door
