Dear Shiraz
I walk out on a moon-lit gaze
I peer at all soul-less things passing by
I smile a lot
And then I think of sadness
As the trees crawl back into themselves
I think of longingness
But only for a mystery
That might have been
And then a spider nestles up close
The night is inviting us in
Together we stay warm
In some kind of strange infamy
Lost among the animal kingdom
